Fan Support

While Magpie Games does not currently take fan submissions for publication, we do have some games whose text is Creative Commons, and can therefore be repurposed or reused by fans who want to create their own tools or supplements for our games.

What Creative Commons Is And How Do We Use It

Creative Commons is a licensing format designed to make it simple and easy to share out our works so you can repurpose them, while still ensuring that they are attributed correctly. You can find out more about Creative Commons here: https://creativecommons.org/about/

Our most common license is the CC BY 4.0 license, which allows you to share and adapt the licensed text, as long as you give appropriate attribution and credit in the new work. You can find more about this license here: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

Not all of our texts are licensed identically. Some of our games have all their text under CC license, while others have only portions. Be sure to check that specific game to make sure you know what is licensed for use. If you have questions, please let us know at info@magpiegames.com.
